Walter Miale, who is 68, has been the director of the Green World Center since
he founded it in 1987 as the nonprofit aegis under which he has undertaken
the projects on this website.
He is the author of The Odds Against Having Been Born - First Chapters of Eleven Novels and Other Writings, and, with Diana Miale, of The Tempest - A Wilderness Ballet, A portfolio of photographs (1993), and the other projects listed on the Home Page and here
He received a Ph.D. in peace studies in 1982 from Union Institute, an M.A. in film (1971) from UCLA, and a B.A. in philosophy (1964) from the University of Chicago.
Walter is a citizen of the United States and Canada.
